Meet Antowanna

Antowanna Carpenter, Founder of Ancar Consulting, brings over 20 years of experience in grants management, compliance, program development, and training across federal, state, foundation, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. She has managed complex grant portfolios and worked with funding sources including FEMA, HUD, NIH, and other government and foundation programs. Antowanna has served in multiple areas of grant development and administration, including as a Grants Director in higher education, where she oversaw multi-million-dollar funding and led grant administration and compliance efforts.

As a recognized trainer and curriculum developer, Antowanna has delivered workshops and training programs for corporations, municipalities, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations. Her areas of expertise include grants management, compliance, nonprofit development, and government contracting readiness.

She is also the Founder of Granting Hope, a firm dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations start, grow, and sustain impactful programs. In addition, she serves as a Business Administration faculty member and is a published business textbook author, bringing real-world expertise into both academic and professional environments.
